Kill or jump over the Alcoon, then freeze the Multiviola to use as a platform. This has to be done relatively quickly or the Multiviola will get stuck down by the bottom door.

It is possible to prevent it from getting stuck by opening the bottom door on entry, but opening it after the Multiviola is stuck will not free it.
